Supreme Court Docket and Argument Schedule

The Kansas Supreme Court reserves certain dates each year on which to consider cases, typically by hearing oral arguments. When the Supreme Court schedules a case to be considered, it puts the case on a "docket," or a listing, of cases for session. Once each session's docket is established, a link will be provided here. Please check the docket pages for each session to see when arguments are scheduled to begin.

The week's docket lists each case to be heard and the time allotted to each case. Attorneys may not use all of their allotted time, and the Court can extend time if there are questions from the bench.

Decisions of the Supreme Court are filed with the Clerk of the Appellate Courts weekly, usually on Friday mornings, and posted on this website within one hour of the time (usually 9:30 a.m. each Friday) they are transmitted by the Reporter's Office to the webmaster by Date of Release
